I'm Chris. I live in the New York City area, where I shape tomorrow's possibilities.

My affinity for crafting exceptional products didn't fully blossom until I embarked on my professional journey. After graduating with dual degrees in Finance and Applied Mathematics from Bentley University in 2014, I delved into the fintech realm by joining Misys (now Finastra) as a business consultant. It was here that I first grasped the potential of query languages while devising solutions for clients utilizing our investment management software.

Progressing further, I assumed the role of a business analyst at Instinet, the fintech division of Nomura Bank. Within this capacity, I evolved into a subject matter expert for the global product management team and eventually ascended to become the Product Manager for the flagship product, Newport 3. In this leadership role, I orchestrated the expansion of the product into a versatile multi-asset trading platform and spearheaded the data transformation initiative. The collective efforts of my team and I garnered consecutive market awards in both 2021 and 2022, solidifying my passion for crafting outstanding products.

This fervor for excellence prompted me to delve into programming in early 2022, transitioning into a freelance software engineer on the side. I extended my services to local individuals and small to medium-sized enterprises. My product management journey led me to Ippon, where I seamlessly melded my fervor and expertise to guide diverse clients—ranging from fledgling startups to Fortune 100 corporations—through the journey of product launch, platform expansion, and product scalability.

My tenure at Ippon illuminated my passion for product development and nurtured a newfound appreciation for the potential of software engineering. Despite its premature conclusion, my motivation continues to fuel my unwavering determination to create user-centric applications. Today, I persist in assisting clients as a freelance software engineer and product manager, actively contributing to the creation of a better tomorrow.
